Title, artist and genre in one batch
Consistent ID3 tags keep track names and artist credits readable in music libraries. A shared artist or genre can be applied across a release, while each MP3 keeps its own editable title.
Music ready for live playlists
Clear track information helps organize a YouTube live radio or a continuous music stream. Editing tags does not grant music rights or bypass platform copyright rules.
Local files, unchanged audio
The editor processes selected MP3 files in your browser. It writes ID3 metadata to downloaded copies without uploading the audio, changing the bitrate or re-encoding the music.
MP3 tag editor questions
Is the online MP3 editor free?
Yes. The public editor is free and needs no account. The same editing engine is also available inside the StreamExpose Console.
Does editing MP3 tags reduce audio quality?
No. Only metadata is rewritten; the encoded audio is not recompressed. Your original file remains unchanged.
Are existing tags and cover artwork kept?
Existing tags are not loaded into the editor. Downloaded copies receive the title, artist and genre entered here. Other ID3v2 fields, including cover artwork, are not preserved. Keep your originals.
Can I edit several MP3 files at once?
Yes. Select several MP3s, edit individual titles, apply an artist or genre to all files, and download the copies. Your browser may request permission for multiple downloads.
